Question 1

What is SolutionHunt?

Accepted Answer

A directory of business products, services, and AI tools. Each listing explains the problem it solves, who it helps, its features, pricing approach, and coverage so you can decide what to explore next.

Question 2

Do I need an account to browse?

Accepted Answer

No. Browse, search, filter, and open provider websites without an account. Sign in with a verified account to support a solution, save it, or join a discussion.

Question 3

Does a listing mean you recommend the provider?

Accepted Answer

A listing is information, not an endorsement. Confirm pricing, availability, security, and suitability with the provider before making a decision. Imported descriptions are based on directory records and official websites.

Question 4

What do support counts mean?

Accepted Answer

They count unique votes from SolutionHunt members. Each member can support a solution once and remove that support later. Votes are not customer reviews or verified purchase ratings.

Question 5

Where do my saved solutions go?

Accepted Answer

They stay in Saved solutions under your account. You can return to the collection or remove a saved item whenever you like. Sign in to the same account to find them again.

Question 6

What can I list?

Accepted Answer

Business products, AI tools, and technology-enabled or local services from startups, MSMEs, established companies, and independent providers. Explain the actual offering clearly and choose the category that best fits.

Question 7

Can I start a listing before signing in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Complete the company, solution, and value steps first. Public details are kept in this browser tab. Create an account or sign in when you reach media and contact details, then continue with a private account draft.

Question 8

What happens after submission?

Accepted Answer

The review team checks the listing. It may be published, returned with requested changes, or declined with feedback. Your listings shows its status, and you can edit and resubmit when changes are requested.

Question 9

Can I change a published listing?

Accepted Answer

Verified company owners can submit a revision. The current approved listing stays public while the new version is reviewed. Sending an update does not immediately replace the public version.

Question 10

Does submitting a listing prove company ownership?

Accepted Answer

No. Editing an existing company's published solutions requires a separate ownership claim, supporting evidence, and administrator verification. Listing a company does not give an account an ownership badge.

Question 11

Are my submission contacts public?

Accepted Answer

Your private contact email and phone are for submission and review. They are excluded from public listings. Optional public contact fields are separate and should only contain information you want visitors to see.

Question 12

Can I edit a comment or report a problem?

Accepted Answer

You can edit or delete your own comments. Use the report action on a comment that needs moderation. For an incorrect listing, account issue, or ownership question, contact the team with a link and a clear explanation.

Question 13

What happens when I go offline?

Accepted Answer

The installable app can show an offline fallback. Private account pages and authentication responses are not cached. Reconnect before saving or submitting; watch the draft's save status before closing the page.
